Planting/Harvesting

Covington Community Garden volunteers hold planting days in the Fall and Spring to prepare the various ares of the garden and then plant all the vegetables, fruits and edible flowers for that particular planting season. When the plants have matured and the fruits and vegetables are ripe, any members of the Covington community may come to the garden to pick whatever they need. Volunteers will also harvest items from the garden to distribute in the neighborhood.
