Covington Community Garden Educational Seminars

Covington Community Garden hosts seminars and hands-on learning experiences on a wide range of topics. Master gardeners, LSU Agricultural staff and nutritional experts provide detailed information, answer questions and provide advice in such areas as:

• Selecting proper plants for the region and season
• How to properly plant and harvest what you grow
• Nutritional value of the plants
• Preparing and cooking plants

The seminars are held throughout the year both in the garden and at various events in Covington and the surrounding area. The seminars are always free and open to the public.
