Covington Community Garden happily works with youth groups, such as local scout troops, to help construct parts of the garden, improving it for the public and helping scouts reach their badge requirements. The garden also gives older BSA scouts community project opportunities, where these youth leaders take the helm of a project to better their communities and, in turn, become eligible for reaching the rank of Eagle Scout. The bridge you see on the south side of the garden was constructed by one of these youth-led projects.
